I will never fail to remember where I was when I heard the news about the terrorist attack. Back in 2001, I was still in college. I woke up early to get my child prepared for Head begin as well as myself prepared for class as well as my task at the deli. like a typical morning I turned on the news. I had the television on for about 10-15 minutes when I saw the whole thing televised on the Today Show.
I was in shock like many Americans that day. who would do this to our country? Why? I had so many unanswered concerns that morning.
After I hugged my child goodbye as well as sent her off on the bus to institution I called my mom. Over the phone we talked about the news as well as cried. I prayed a great deal that day. as well as wept some more.
My manager closed the deli early as well as I only had one class which was cancelled have method through. My professor’s child was living in new York City at the time so he needed to cancel his classes to discover out exactly how she was doing. It turned out that she was fine.
I will never fail to remember September 11, 2001. What were you doing that day when you heard the news?
